About
Big Time Arts is a private art advisory and creative studio, built on more than three decades of contemporary art experience — across dealing, gallery work, advisory, and cultural production.
The advisory works with collectors, institutions, and the family offices, estate attorneys, and advisors who support them. Engagements range from acquisitions and sales to long-term collection strategy, deaccessions, and asset planning — with clients ranging from private individuals to corporate collections and Fortune 500 partners.
Alongside the advisory, the studio produces brand × artist collaborations, exhibitions, and cultural projects. Past collaborators include LG, Frieze, Mercedes-Benz, The Georgian Hotel, and a roster of blue-chip galleries and contemporary artists.
Both the advisory and the studio are run small, on a relationship basis. New engagements are by introduction.
Lineage
A working history of the practice that became Big Time Arts — and, eventually, Cove Collect.
Started selling contemporary work in Los Angeles.
Founded an early venture renting out art collections to film and television productions.
Founded Eli’s first full art consultancy — artist representation, brand collaborations, collection management, advisory, and special projects.
Opened a contemporary gallery in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.
Rebuilt and expanded the consultancy. Designed and launched the studio’s first proprietary collector system.
Recruited to lead the art services division. Built an inventory management and logistics platform for the firm.
Partner at the gallery’s Los Angeles location, a two-year tenure programming and operating the space.
Founded the studio to focus on brand × artist collaboration, exhibitions, and cultural projects.
Launched the platform built to formalize the collection management, appraisal, and intelligence work the practice had been doing by hand for years.
Big Time Arts and Cove Collect are separate companies, run in parallel.
The studio handles the creative and curatorial work — brand × artist collaborations, exhibitions, and private advisory. Cove Collect handles the platform side: appraisals, collection management, and market intelligence for collectors and their advisors.
